The members of this board serve at the pleasure of the Governor and are appointed by the following quidelines: the Sec. of DHH or designee; the Asst. Sec. of Office of Public Health DHH or designee; Dir. of Adolescent & School Health DHH or the designee; Pres. of Senate or designee selected from a member of Senate; Speaker of House or designee from House membership; school-board member in a system where there is a SBHC; school-board member rejecting SBHC; M.D. practicing SBHC; 4 at-large LA residents; member of SBHC volunteer advisory bd; and the Gov or designee. Governor shall select the Chair of this board.
